Why be a part of a Sunday School class?

One purpose of Sunday School is to encourage community amongst believers. The goal of a small group Sunday School class is to love, encourage, and share life together as we study God's Word. It is through this community that we are empowered to go out equipped, empowered, and encouraged to be on mission for God's glory.

What to Expect:

When you attend a class, expect a casual atmosphere of studying and learning God’s Word.  You will not be asked to pray aloud, to read Scripture, or be called upon to answer a question.  Our desire is two-fold: first, to have a spiritual conversation about the passage of Scripture studied, and second, to equip you to learn how to study the bible on your own so you can have a deeper understanding of how to apply God’s Word in your life.  The class usually lasts about 75 minutes and there is a class for all ages.  While they may seem like a long time, some classes have a light breakfast, but good fellowship and a time of prayer for needs are included.
Children Security Check-In –  A parent or guardian is required to bring their child (preschool through 5th grade) to their class to sign them in, and to sign them out when they are picked up.
